Is it possible to be creative people again, in a world where images and immediacy have captured us?

Is it possible to be creative people again, in a world where images and immediacy have captured us?

Creativity is something very complex to explain, but what is clear is that we all have access to it. But today, with technology, social networks, artificial intelligence, etc.; We are increasingly distant from our creative potential, and from our intuition. We live absorbed and almost dominated by a world of images, which appear on our cell phone, tablet, iPad, laptop, etc.; immediately and quickly. We are so absorbed that we are almost devoured by them, leaving all our creative essence almost annihilated. The immediacy and speed leaves us with no time to think, reflect, to spend time alone with ourselves and our thoughts, sensations, emotions, etc. But what can we do not to be devoured by all this? The most important thing would be to start by giving ourselves at least a few minutes to be with ourselves, learn to enjoy our own company, and thus be aware of our body, our heart rate, breathing, our thoughts, emotions, feelings. A second step could be to return to nature, and observe it, feel it, without any distraction, just us and it. I say this because every creative process begins with observation, the exploration of oneself and then of one's environment. Intuition also reveals itself in this process to become a guiding companion. Creativity is a physiological process, and at the same time very subjective and very intimate of each person; since this can happen in different ways for each one. But, in the same way that nature must be taken care of, because if not it withers; Creativity also requires this care, which is why it is necessary that we give ourselves space in our routines to do activities that can promote the development of our creativity. Because creativity is not just for some special people, it is something that belongs to everyone, and that has played a fundamental role in the development of humanity. To finish, I will propose that we begin to ration the time we spend on social networks or the time we use our cell phone, tablet, iPad, artificial intelligence, etc.; and we sat for a moment with ourselves, because only then will our curiosity about life and nature be awakened again, something that is vital to develop and unlock our creativity.
